This privacy policy describes the policies of MG Pack GmbH, Schererstraße 6, Berlin, 13347 Berlin, Germany, email: info@mgpack.de, phone: 03045960145, regarding the collection, use and disclosure of your information that we collect when you use our website (https://mgpack.de) (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to the collection, use and disclosure of your data in accordance with this privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not access or use the Service.
We may change this privacy policy at any time without prior notice to you and will publish the revised privacy policy on the Service. The revised policy will take effect 180 days after the revised policy is published on the Service, and your continued access to or use of the Service after that time constitutes your acceptance of the revised privacy policy. We therefore recommend that you check this page regularly.
How we use your information and the legal basis for processing
We process personal data that you provide to us via our contact and sample-box forms (e.g. name, email address, phone number, address, and your details on the desired sample box) for the following purposes:
Processing and responding to your inquiry
Shipping the sample box you ordered
Communication as part of establishing a business relationship
The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures taken at your request) and, where necessary, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in processing incoming inquiries). If we wish to use your data for other purposes, we will ask for your consent and will only use your data after receiving your consent, and then only for the purpose(s) for which you gave your consent, unless we are otherwise legally obligated to do so. Data is not used for advertising purposes without separate consent.
Storage Period
We store personal data from contact inquiries and sample box orders only for as long as necessary to achieve the respective purpose, generally for the duration of the business initiation or transaction. The data is then deleted, unless statutory retention obligations apply (e.g. commercial or tax law retention periods under the German Commercial Code (HGB) and Fiscal Code (AO) of up to 10 years for corresponding documents).
How we share your information
We do not share your personal data with third parties, except to the extent necessary to provide our services or where we are legally obligated to do so. In particular, we use the following external service provider (data processor):
FormSubmit – the data entered via our contact and sample-box forms is technically processed and forwarded to us via this email forwarding service. The service may use servers outside the European Union / European Economic Area; in that case, the transfer is based on appropriate safeguards (e.g. EU standard contractual clauses). We require the service providers we use to use the personal data we transmit to them only for the purpose for which it was transmitted, and not to retain it any longer than necessary to fulfill that purpose.
Data is not shared for advertising or marketing purposes. We may also disclose your personal data to the extent we are legally required to do so: (1) to comply with applicable law, regulations, court orders or other legal processes; (2) to enforce your agreements with us, including this privacy policy; or (3) to respond to claims that your use of the Service violates the rights of third parties. If the Service or our company is merged with or acquired by another company, your information will become part of the assets transferred to the new owner.

Cookies and Local Storage
Our website only uses technically necessary local storage technologies. On your first visit, we show you a cookie notice; your choice ("Accept all" or "Necessary only") is stored locally in your browser using so-called local storage technology under the key "mgpack_cookie_consent", so that the notice is not shown to you again on every visit. This storage is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR or, insofar as it constitutes consent, on Section 25(2) No. 2 of the German Telecommunications-Telemedia Data Protection Act (TTDSG).
The website itself currently does not set any analytics, tracking or marketing cookies and does not transmit any data to third-party providers for advertising or analytics purposes. Links to WhatsApp, Instagram and TikTok merely point to the respective offerings of these providers; only once you actively click on such a link do their own privacy policies apply. You can revisit and change your choice at any time via the "Cookie Settings" button in the footer of our website.
Security
The security of your data is important to us, and we will take appropriate security measures to prevent the loss, misuse or unauthorized alteration of your data under our control. However, given the inherent risks, we cannot guarantee absolute security and therefore cannot warrant or guarantee the security of information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.
